On the weekend of 9/10/11th of February 2007 nine members of Pinner Lodge No. 3300 and one of St. Giles Lodge No. 4316 accompanied by eight of their respective ladies travelled to Munich (Germany).

At the Regular Convocation of the United Service Chapter held on 18th January, 2007, E.Comp. Robert Samuel (Bob) Watson, PPrGScN, celebrated the 50th Anniversary of his Exaltation into the Royal Arch. It was on the 19th January, 1957, that E.Comp. Bob was Exalted in the Sekondi Chapter, No. 3238, in the Gold Coast (now renamed Ghana).
The Bracken Hill School is a school catering for special needs pupils and is situated in Sutton in Ashfield. At the moment, the school has an appeal to fund the purchase of a new minibus, and United Service Chapter has been very pleased to give them a donation of £500 for this cause.
The famous Sutton Coldfield Demonstration Team will be re-enacting a 1756 Initiation Ceremony at Mansfield Lodge of Instruction's Annual Supper meeting on Thursday 26th April at 6pm. Tickets are £15 each and available from the secretary.

Six Nottinghamshire brethren are part of the team that make up the Nottinghamshire Police Aid Convoy, collecting and dispatching many tons of locally donated humanitarian aid to places in Europe, Russia and Africa.

In Feb '06 as Liaison Officer to L5133 I was informed that an Undergraduate from Nottm University had enquired at G/St "How to become a Mason". It subseqently transpired the Undergrad Mr.Kok-Yong 'Charles' Tan was due to take a position with a London practice of Architects.
Provincial Banner Dedication Ceremony Oration

This morning we have the pleasure in dedicating this new Provincial Lodge banner. This is the third provincial banner we have had and was nearly the fourth. There are no details about the dedication ceremonies of the previous banners. The earliest non Masonic reference to Provincial Grand Lodge was a reference in the "Nottingham Review" in December 6th, 1833, when it gave details of a Masonic Festival held by the Newstead Lodge for brethren and their ladies in the News House, St. James's Street.
