THORESBY LODGE No. 3106 - NEWSTEAD ABBEY SERVICE - 13th MAY
Thoresby Lodge is holding its Annual Service within the Abbey on Sunday 13th May at 11.20 pm, followed by Lunch afterwards in the Eastwood Suite at Portland College, near Mansfield.

Installation of the P G M (Mark) of Nottinghamshire
Rt. W.Bro. Michael John Gutteridge was installed as the Provincial Grand Master of Nottinghamshire in the Mark Degree on 29th March at the Masonic Hall , Nottingham.
The Saturday Singers is a mixed choir of around 65 men and women that meets on saturday mornings in the Ionic Dining room at Goldsmith Street. Obviously, as a mixed choir, it is not exclusively a Masonic Choir but freemasons are most welcome to participate, (we are always on the look out for good tenors and basses)
April Charity of the Month - Hope House School
Hope House is a unique school which will transform the lives of children with Autistic Spectrum disorders through one-to-one tutoring in individual classrooms.
Well done on the site, very encouraging. It would be nice to show all the Nottingham Lodges / Orders / Side degress etc. within the Nottinghamshire Province, on the NottinghamshireMason website.
Virtually all dining places for ‘The Big Day’ are now taken and well over one thousand five hundred Brethren, family and friends will attend the Festival Receptions and Banquets.
Grand Charity Donations update

Grants to non-Masonic charities totalling £1.3 million were approved at the recent Annual General Meeting of The Freemasons' Grand Charity. This included thirteen grants to support specific projects (major grants) and an allocation of funding for distribution during 2007 to smaller charities (minor grants) and hospice services.

Since November 1999 ‘MQ Magazine ‘ has been available on cassette tape and CD.
