Virtually all dining places for ‘The Big Day’ are now taken and well over one thousand five hundred Brethren, family and friends will attend the Festival Receptions and Banquets.
However, in order that anyone who has not booked may still have the opportunity to participate in some of the highlights of the day, we have now been able to make arrangements with the National Ice Centre for non-dining places to be available from 4pm to view the main procession, listen to the speeches, witness the Appeal result announcement and presentation of the cheque and to then participate in the Grand Festival Finale. This will feature the Ransome Band, three choirs, Donna Bateman, an accomplished soprano and all present, in a highly participative ‘Last Night of the Festival’ performance. The price of the tickets will be a modest £10.00 and this will include a welcome drink, premium seats facing the stage and even flags and blowers to be used in the ‘Last Night’ finale.
Applications for non-dining tickets should be made to W. Bro. John Taylor, 118 Skegby Lane, Mansfield, Notts. NG19 6PG, telephone 01623 625413, ‘e’mail, johntaylor@stoneycroft118.freeserve.co.uk listing the names (plus Lodge No. and Masonic rank if appropriate) and accompanied by the full remittance of £10.00 per person. He will then send full joining instructions and tickets.
