50 Year Certificate - W.Bro John Allcock

On Thursday 9th May 1957 Mr John Walter Allcock, employed as an Aircraft Project Engineer, was initiated into Byron Lodge No 4014 at Ogle Street, Hucknall, and among the many visitors present that night was W Bro J G Fearon P G Std B.
On Thursday 24th May 2007, a well known W Bro J W Allcock P Pr S G W, C of M celebrated his 50 years membership of the Craft in general and of Byron Lodge in particular. The meeting was honoured by the presence of the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro R W Davies who presented the Province's 50-year Certificate as well as an inscribed rose vase from the Past Masters. W Bro Davies referred to the exemplary service and enthusiasm shown by W Bro Allcock to his Craft lodges as well as to his Mark lodges and Rose Croix chapters.
At the Festive Board, W Bro Allcock was asked to take a splendid basket of flowers to his wife Margaret from the members of the Lodge thanking her for allowing her husband to attend so many meeting during the past 50 years.
