Another First for Hemlock Stone !!!

In April 2007 Hemlock Stone Lodge No 3734 pulled off another “ First “ in the County by putting on a Demonstration of the Building of “ King Solomons Temple.

This comprised of a 90 minute demonstration of the origins and contents of the Temple and a scale model was eventually built up stage by stage and a very interesting narrative was given along the way. Many unknown and controversial pieces of information were given and much “food for thought” given to the Brethren.

Finally (and obviously very controversially ! ) the completed Temple was lit up by electricity and the Worshipful Master, the Deputy Provincial Master and other Brethren were invited to take a closer inspection of the fully completed model, which was by now well over 10 feet high.

The Worshipful Master W.Bro John Price thanked both W.Bros Jeff Smith and Jimmy Rogers for their expert and articulate presentation, and they were invited to join the Brethren at the Festive Board.

W.Bros Jeff Smith and Jimmy Rogers of the Cleveleys Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1176 from Lancashire kindly visited the “outpost” ( to them ) of Nottingham to do the presentation which was very well received by over 100 brethren, which included the Deputy Grand Provincial Master W.Bro Stephen Mather and other distinguished brethren.
