Ladies Associate Members - Saturday Morning Group.
With the holiday closure at the Masonic Hall, Goldsmith Street, in August, there was no meeting of the Saturday Morning Group. This recess made a very welcome gathering of members the following month, but no one could have prepared us for the speaker at our September meeting. Brenda Dawe is a remarkable person, having been treated for breast cancer she decided to raise funds for cancer charities and so commenced the subject for her talk, ‘A Drive of her Life’.

The Provincial Secretary, W J Bradbury, recently sent out to all Lodge Secretaries the following information:
Mansfield & District Branch Multiple Sclerosis Society Donation
On Tuesday evening August 14th, the magnificent sum of £1000.50 was presented to The Mansfield and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. This was made possible through the good offices of the Provincial Charity Committee and of course through the generosity of Nottinghamshire Freemasons.

Mansfield Charity Stewards Buy Camping equipment For Scout Group
Bro A E Scothern of Kirkeby Lodge, a keen Scout Leader, helped to form the 1st Kirkby in Ashfield Scout Troop. The Troop was dreadfully short of camping equipment, and he made application to the Mansfield Charity Stewards for assistance.
Following an application for help to Kirkeby Lodge, the Mansfield Charity Stewards made a donation to the
