Candidates Information Programme.
Since the Province introduced this initiative in 2006, over 400 potential and newly initiated Freemasons and their Ladies have attended such a presentation and benefited from the scheme.
Now it seems that Nottinghamshire may well have led the way to what will become future policy for the Craft; for at a meeting of United Grand Lodge, held on March 14th 2007. the Pro. Grand Master, Lord Northampton, announced that future Candidates for Freemasonary MUST be informed of the merits and objects of our Society.
There are a series of presentations to be held in the Nottingham area during November and all Lodge Secretaries should please assist by making details of proposed or possible candidates known to the organisers - see local notice boards.
