Warwickshire Firefighters Donation

I have this morning (29th November) received a telephone call from the PGM of Warwickshire, thanking me for the donation of £1,000 which this Province had made in aid of the relief fund for the widows and families of the 4 firemen who were killed in the recent warehouse disaster.
R W Bro Michael Price yesterday presented to the Chief Fire Officer for Warwickshire cheques totalling £31,000 to this fund, given by his own Province, ours, from West Kent (which, like Warwickshire has a Firemen’s Lodge), and from the Grand Charity. In addition, our Lodge of Charity made a donation: its WM is also a member of the Warwickshire Firemen’s Lodge.
R W Bro Price wished to convey his own thanks, and those of the Chief Fire Officer, to those who had contributed, saying how much the donations, kind thoughts and support were appreciated.
