Goldsmith Street Regalia Store donates play equipment to Local Children
The Regalia Store at the Masonic Hall, Goldsmith Street recently made two donations of equipment.
The first being to Bulwell S. Mary’s Primary School, for their pupils who range from 3 to 11 years, after the Regalia Store heard that required some additional equipment to supplement the equipment provided by the Local Education Authority. The photograph shows W. Bro. Royce Kirkham (from the Store) presenting the equipment, part of which was a lockable storage locker for the security of all the items, which normally are under the supervision of playground assistants. The second donation was to Gedling Southbank under 9’s football team to encourage and support youngsters to participate in sporting activities. Much is said about the young people of today and the actions of a minority, these youngsters truly appreciated the items of equipment that they received and where full of praise for the donation. We hope that in future years we may see a football champion emerging from their ranks. [Photograph shows team with some of the equipment]
