"40`s Revisited" Fundraising Dance at Mansfield
Mansfield Charity Stewards Committee held a fundraising dance at Mansfield Masonic Hall on 16th February 2008. The event comprised a 1940s dance with a Pie and Peas supper with a 1940s disco. The event closed with a 40`s sing along to the piano accompaniment by W.Bro Bert Stringer.
The Supreme Council of the Antient and Accepted Rite have been pleased to promote nine Nottinghamshire Brethren to the Higher Degrees. At a ceremony in Duke Street, London, Ill Bros David Green and Eric Saxton received their 31⁰, and Ill Brn. Malcolm Shelmerdine, Tony Arundel, Ken Hardwick, Phil Perkins, Lee Southern and Michael Westwood their 30⁰. All had made a significant contribution to the Order.
