60 Golfers assembled on 9th May 08 at Sherwood Forest Golf Club in perfect weather to compete for the ninth ‘Elliott Lodge Golf Challenge.’
W Bro Peter Roberts’ team of ‘Collis Cowboys’ won the day on 97 points – whose young member Juan Crowe also carried away the ‘longest drive’ and ‘nearest the pin’ prizes. Ladies ‘Longest Drive’ went to Mrs Chez Abraham.
The Secretary and Brethran are most grateful for the help of Masonic wives, Lady Captain Gill Beecroft and Lady Vice Captain Sue Robinson, Charity Steward WBro Richard and Annette Cantrill, Almoner WBro Ken Hardwick and WBro Jon Boulton and the generosity of Lodge Members and Competitors who raised £1,000 for Masonic charities.
