The surviving founders of the Corpus Christi Preceptory of Knights Templar No 462, R E Kt D G R Lovett KCT, V E Kt W D Tyson and E Kt O N Hall are pictured along with the Provincial Prior for Nottinghamshire, Rt E Kt M D Morris and Provincial Sub Prior, E Kt A C Rainbow on the occasion of a ceremonial visit by the acting officers of the Provincial Priory of Nottinghamshire on Wed 16 July 2008 to mark the 100th meeting since the consecration in 1975.
The Rt E Provincial Prior processed into the Preceptory accompanied by his Provincial officers under an Arch of Steel made up of Brother Knights of the Provincial Priors Bodyguard led by their Commander, E Kt T Scorer. He was welcomed by the E Preceptor, E Kt R Sharp and accepted the baton to conduct the early business of the meeting including delivering an address to mark the 100th meeting along with a letter from the Great Vice Chancellor sending the congratulations of the M E & Supreme Grand Master.
It is worthy of note that the very first candidate to be installed into the Preceptory in 1976 was the now Provincial Prior, R E Kt M D Morris!
