The Province were pleased to receive a letter shortly later from Jackie from which the following is extracted:

"On behalf of Family Care's Staff, volunteers, and families that use our service, we would like to say a big thank-you to The Provincial Grand Lodge of Nottinghamshire for funding our new photocopier.

The copier arrived yesterday, and was set up with no problems. Already we are seeing the benefit of this. the print quality (an issue with the old machine) is greatly improved. As we copy items such as children's emotional support artwork, poems etc, and paperwork such as precious adoption records, it's essential w can reproduce these effectively.

A further bonus is that we can copy volumes of work without the need for a member of staff to be nearby to unblock repeated jams, enabling us to work more efficiently and free up our time to channel this into delivering our services.

We will also acknowledge your generosity in our 2008 annual report, which will be produced in 2009."

It is welcoming to receive such letters which acnowledge that our donations have not just lead to improvements in efficiency but have delivered improvements in the amount and level of care which organisations can provide.
