Nottinghamshire Young Masons - Worksop meeting.

Attention all Nottinghamshire Young Masons

Following the success of the inaugural “Notts Young Masons” meeting at Goldsmith Street, it has been agreed to hold a second meeting for the benefit of all younger masons particularly those Brethren who meet in the north of the Province.

This meeting is to be held at the Worksop Masonic Hall, 33 Potter Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 2AE on Saturday 28th March 2009 commencing at 2.00pm.

All young Masons (45 yrs and under) are encouraged to attend this informal meeting to enable the brethren to share to an open forum, what you enjoy, how to improve and any concerns they may have about Freemasonry in general and the Province of Nottinghamshire in particular. Your contributions will be most welcome.

The afternoon will be a relaxed, informal affair that will give the Notts Young Masons committee members an opportunity to introduce themselves and give a short presentation on our progress so far.

Then the floor will be open to question, suggest, comment and share any ideas on any item that the brethren present may see relevant.

Our meeting will precede the regular Lodge meeting of the Old Worksopian Lodge No. 6963 who are holding a triple raising (3rd degree) ceremony.

All qualifying Brethren are encouraged to visit and witness this unique event. The Lodge opens at 4.00 pm, anyone wishing to attend the Festive Board can contact the secretary W. Bro. G. Sharpe on 01623 823501 or sharpe678@hotmail.com.

For this meeting to be a success it is necessary to have as many young brethren in attendance as possible, your views are important to the future of Freemasonry, your ideas, suggestions and comments will be duly noted and reported on in complete confidence.

Look forward to seeing you there. Yours sincerely & fraternally

W. Bro. S. J. Morris, P.Pr.J.G.D. Notts Young Masons Committee
