Chilwell Masonic Hall.

Following the official opening of the refurbished bar and lounge facilities by the Provincial Grand Master, Robin Wilson last October, Chilwell Masonic Hall is enjoying an unprecedented upturn in business. Members and guests can now relax and enjoy excellent food, fine wines and beverages at very competitive prices.

Bookings for Masonic and private functions have increased substantially and following a very successful quiz night held by Robin Hood Lodge both Harlequin Lodge and Thoresby Lodge will be holding similar events in the near future. Bramcote Lodge are planning a Barn Dance in April and Chilwell Mark Lodge and Bicentenary Lodge have also booked social functions.

Other recent events included a Ladies Festival by Old Priory Lodge and a Christmas lunch by Rushcliffe Lodge. ‘Old Samaritans’ held a Burns Night Celebration and everyone enjoyed an excellent evening with a very generous donation to the Hall Building Fund for which our sincere thanks go to them and their guests.

The monthly Sunday Lunches are becoming increasingly popular, regularly attracting between 60 – 70 diners for the 3 course Carvery which at just £ 10.00 is exceptional value. Early booking for forthcoming Sunday Lunches is essential.

Our excellent caterers can provide menus for hot meals and buffet selections for all types of occasions and Lodges wishing to hold social events at Chilwell can do so with no booking/hire fees being charged.
