Over 100 Sovereign Princes of the Rose Croix of Heredom attended Mansfield Masonic Hall on Tuesday 3rd March 2009 to witness the reconstitution of the Trinity Rose Croix Chapter No 566 - an event thought to be only the second ever occurrance.

With the membership of both Maun and St Edwin Chapters being swelled due to successful recruitment, Illustrious Inspector General Michael Page BEM happily granted permission for a third Chapter to be held in Mansfield. The subsequent application to Supreme Grand Chapter coincided with the news that Trinity RC of Middlesex, founded in 1962, had decided to surrender its warrant due to failing membership and the idea of it's re-constitution in Mansfield was warmly received by all parties.

Amongst those from Supreme Grand Chapter presiding over the ceremony was M Ill Bro J L W Wright RD, FRCS 33° who, it was announced, was about to be promoted to the Head of the RC order in England, Wales and provinces & districts overseas, as Sovereign Grand Commander. He installed V Ill Bro Graham Aitken as MWS, who then invested his officers.

The final MWS of Trinity Chapter RC in Middlesex then congratulated V Ill Bro Aitken and presented him with their baton and loving cups, who in return proposed for honourary membership all existing middlesex members.

This very special evening was drawn to an end after a sumptuous festive board which, coupled with fine company and such an auspicious occasion made for a very special evening.
