Ninety diners arrived at West Bridgford Masonic Hall for a five course gourmet meal, which for this evening became 'Fawlty Towers'.
Everyone was greeted by our hosts Basil & Sybil Fawlty and Manuel the waiter from Barcelona.
It looked at first that the event would have to be cancelled if the bad weather had not improved, fortunately conditions did improve so the event was on and the organiser Alan Shirley gave a sigh of relief.
The picture shows one of the many diversions that occurred during the evening, the lady only asked for biscuits but was confronted with a rat in the biscuit tin.
The evening was an outstanding success and Alan hopes to promote another themed evening at a later date, possibly 'Allo, Allo'.
