Kaballah, then Medieval Library - SRIA study group 2nd meeting

Following the success of the inaugural meeting of the East Midlands SRIA study group, a second meeting is set for Saturday May 2nd, at Grantham Masonic Hall, at which all SRIA Fratres and Master Masons are welcome.

The main presentation of the day will be a paper on the mystical Kaballah, a set of esoteric teachings that is meant to explain the relationship between an infinite, eternal and essentially unknowable Creator with the finite and mortal universe of His creation, delivered by the very eloquent and informative Bro Alan Turton.

Lunch is provided at £3 per head after which, a guided tour of the medieval chained library at St Wulfram’s Church has been arranged.

11.15 hrs Questions & discussion on Alan’s Paper.

12.00 hrs Lunch (nominal charge for tea/coffee & excellent buffet - £3 per head)

12.30 hrs - Continued discussion on Alan’s Paper, or presentation of a ‘Ten Minute Talk’ from Jim Johnson.

14.00 hrs - Conducted tour of the Trigge Library at St Wulfram’s Parish Church, Grantham. A very short walk from Masonic Hall, the Trigge Library is a rare, medieval chained library holding many ancient books <http://www.stwulframs.org.uk/home/building.php>
