On a blustery day in March 2009, Deputy Provincial Grand Master V.W.Bro. R.H. Green & Provincial Grand Charity Steward W.Bro. W.M. Stansby visited the R.S.P.C.A animal shelter to see the developments that are ongoing.
A cheque for £395 had been sent to cover the cost of 3 Large modules for transporting animals plus 2 collapsable trolleys. Also in the group was W.Bro. John Price and W.Bro. Stuart Gunn from Hemlockstone Lodge who sent a cheque of £500 for the shelter last year.
