Byron Lodge No 4014

At the Christmas Lodge on December 18th 2008, the Worshipful Master W/Bro Steve Cooling and his Lady Mrs Alejandra Cooling presented cheques to Neil and Claire Harris of The Emily Harris Foundation, a charity set up in the memory of their daughter to support the Neo-Natal Unit at Kings Mill Hospital.

Cheque 1. £4,000 raised from the ladies evening, a race night, a skittles night and the lodge charity account, during Steve`s year in the chair.

Cheque 2. £350 raised at a bonfire and hog roast for family and friends held at the wm`s home in Sherwood Forest.

On 23rd January 2009 Steve and Alejandra became the proud parents of twin baby girls and ironically they spent 24 hours in the Neo-Natal unit at Kings Mill were they saw first hand how wonderful the staff there are.

The second photo is from the same night when the Worshipful Master presented to W/Bro John W Allcock PPr SGW and holder of the Provincial Grand Masters Certificate of Merit on behalf of Byron Lodge a new set of collars and cuffs to commemorate his two years in the chair of the lodge, 2003 and 2008
