At the meeting of Grand Mark Lodge on Tuesday June 9th, the following Nottinghamshire brethren were invested/promoted with Grand Rank by Most Worshipful Brother John Hale the Pro Grand Master

Very Worshipful Brother John Norman George Howitt PGJO, GMRAC who is a member of the General Board, was promoted to the rank of Past Grand Junior Warden, which entitles him to use the prefix of Right Worshipful Brother.

Worshipful Brother Peter Maxwell Ball PAGDC, RAMGR, the Provincial Grand Secretary, was promoted to the Active rank of Grand Senior Deacon.

W Bro Carl Clifford PAGDC, RAMGR was promoted to the rank of PGSD

W Bro Robert Grummitt PGStwd, RAMGR was promoted to the rank of PGSD

W Bro Christopher Adkin, the Provincial Grand Deputy Secretary received a first appointment to PAGDC

W Bro Peter Bailey received a first appointment to PAGDC

W Bro Geoffrey Hall received a first appointment to PAsstGSwdB

W Bro Colin Pheasant received a first appointment to PGStdB

The ceremony was followed by the traditional banquet attended by over 900 Mark Masons in the Connaught Rooms – a truly memorable occasion.
