Mansfield Charity Stewards Swimathon Presentation
The Mansfield Charity Stewards annual "Swimathon" held at the Water Meadows Swimming Baths at Mansfield on Sunday 15th March raised £4591.70 to be divided between Central Notts Mind (Mansfield Branch) and The Lung Cancer Research Fund Charity at City Hospital. All the Mansfield Lodges were represented in this event as well as swimmers from Mind and a consultant doctor and his family.
The attached photograph shows the Charity Steward Chairman W.Bro Michael Bull presenting a cheque to Mr Girish Ravat, General Manager of Mind at their Mansfield headquarters for half of the proceeds raised, which will be used to fund a replacement Mini-Bus.
