MANSFIELD LODGE PRESENTATION

Wbro Mick Clarke master of Mansfield Lodge 7094 presents a gavel to Wbro Martin Haywood P Pr S G D Wbro Martin emigrated to Australia in 2005 but has remained a firm supporter of Mansfield Lodge
since he moved. Always remembered in the nine o`clock toast the May meeting was slightly different in that WBro Martin was able to be present.

He first attained the chair of his mother Lodge in 1973 but his work with the then Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food took him all over the country, leaving little time for his Freemasonry but having settled in Ravenshead he joined Mansfield Lodge attaining the chair in 1999 having progressed through all the offices of the Lodge. He was secretary of the Lodge for a number of
years, and the 2007 Charity Steward, and raised a significant amount of money by designing and marketing, thoughout the world the Masters Millenium Lapel Pin.

His work and contribution to the Lodge was very significant, and to mark his visit and also to Commemorate 40 yrs in Freemasonry the members wished to mark the occasion by presenting him with a gavel.
