NOTTINGHAMSHIRE v LINCOLNSHIRE MATCH For the first time we ventured into Lincolnshire to play a match against the Lincolnshire Province at Holme Hall Golf Club, Scunthorpe. The match on Monday 20th April resulted in a convincing win 4-0 for Lincolnshire.

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE v STAFFORDSHIRE MATCH This match, held at Beeston Fields Golf Club on Friday 3rd July, ended in a 3-3 draw.

NORTH v SOUTH MATCH The annual match between the North of the Province and the South of the Province took place at College Pines Golf Club on Thursday 16th July. The weather was warm with a shower of rain before the end of the competition. The greens were hard with the ball bouncing through to the back or beyond the greens. For the second year running the South won. Although the result was very close last year (3-2), this year the South was a surprising clear winner (4½-½).
