Presentation for research into Lung Cancer
Dr David R Baldwin,( second left ) Consultant Respiratory Physician, Nottingham University Hospitals, receives a cheque in the sum of £2,075.00 from W Bro M A Bull Chairman of the Mansfield Charity Stewards. This was raised at the annual "Swimathon". Dr Baldwin was himself one of the sponsored swimmers. The donation was specifically for research into Lung Cancer Relief. Dr Baldwin was able to tell us, that the research ongoing at this time, and equipment purchased has helped a number of patients locally at Kings Mill Hospital. Also pictured are W.Bro K Purslow Charity Steward of Byron lodge, and W,Bro J L Yeoman Charity Steward of Kirkeby Lodge. The presentation took place at the Masonic Hall, Mansfield on the 11th November.
