Old Elizabethan Lodge No. 7714 Presentation
The attached photograph shows, W. Bro. Ron Allsop , presenting on behalf of the Lodge a cheque for £500 to Maxine Rudkin, specialist Haematology nurse at the Centre for Clinical Haematology, City Hospital, Nottingham. The cheque is for the Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal.
The fund is to foster life-saving research into Leukaemia, and the related cancers Lymphoma and Myeloma at the Department of Haematology, City Hospital, Nottingham which is now regarded as one of the leading centres in Europe.
The donation is one of four made by the Lodge to Non-Masonic Charities this year.
