Worksop Masonic Club Poppy Appeal Service
The Annual Remembrance Service was held at the Worksop Masonic Hall On the 15th November 2009.
The service was held in the Masonic Temple and led by W Bro Rev John Burgess. A contingent from Provincial Grand Lodge was led by the Provincial Grand Master Robin Wilson and Mrs Margaret Wilson.
The Royal British Legion contingent was led by the County fund raiser Bob Privett.
The Service began with great colour as the Standards of the Royal British Legion, Sea Cadets, Army Cadets and Air Training Corps were escorted into the Temple.
The Service was followed by a very pleasant and convivial luncheon during which the Provincial Grand Master congratulated the youth organisations on their splendid turnout.
Bob Privett presented the PGM with a plaque to commemorate the 10 years that the event has raised funds for the Annual Poppy Appeal.
