£3,000 donation to Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal
The Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro R. K. Wilson presenting a cheque of £3000.00 as a donation to the Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal which supports the work of the Leukaemia Research Laboratory at the City Hospital, for an urgently needed sophisticated Incubator, with controls for the concentrations of oxygen and carbon dioxide. The equipment will be used entirely for research into the nature of Leukaemia, as this kind of research is not supported by the National Health Service and is completely dependent upon charitable giving.
