Masonic Libraries & Museums Group meets at Newark MH
On Saturday 27th March 2010 the Masonic Libraries & Museums Group convened at Newark Masonic Hall for the first of its half-yearly meetings.
Carl Clifford Celebrates 50th Anniversary Mark Membership
On Friday March 20th 2010, WBro David Smith PPrJGD repatriated an Unidentified Fraternal Object to the Edwinstowe Lodge No 3998, much to the delight of all present, especially the grandson of the WM with whom it was associated, now an honourary member of the Lodge.
The Annual Fund Raising Event organized by the Mansfield and Ashfield Charity Stewards on February 27th at the Mansfield Masonic Hall was a Carnival Night.
Romance was in the air at Ruddington Grange Golf Club on 14 February when 111 people turned out for the annual ‘TLC Valentines Lunch’. The event has become a firm favourite among masons and non-masons alike as it offers a fun filled lunchtime in convivial company with the opportunity to take home a prize from the now famous mammoth raffle or to bid for extraordinary items in the auction.
Pinner Lodge No 3300 103rd Installation Meeting
Pinner Lodge No 3300 was witness to the 103rd Installation of the Master Elect Bro Raymond Greenway in the well attended Ionic Temple at the Masonic Hall, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham, in the presence of the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Nottinghamshire W Bro R V Gutteridge. A contingent of Masons from the Pinner Lodge No 3423 in the province of Middlesex also attended. The Installing Master was taken ill very suddenly several days prior and so an Installation team was very quickly put together in the names of W Bro Paul Ouseley as the Obligating Installing Master whilst W Bro Ken Lawmon gave the signs and placed W Bro Ray into the Master's chair. Chilwell Lodge donates to Brackenfield School and Specialist Col

W Bro David Shakespeare with W Bro Derek Prudham (Treasurer) and Bro Laurence Dickerson (Junior Warden and Governor of Brackenfield School) visited Brackenfield School and Specialist College in Cognition and Learning at Long Eaton on Wednesday 24th February 2010 to present a donation of £200. The presentation was made to Mr Phil Ormerod, the Head Teacher, who was pleased to receive the donation, which will help towards the cost of Enterprise Week when all the pupils take part in Residential and daily activities out of school in July.
