Mansfield Charity Stewards Presentation To Landmarks Charity
On 30th June 2010 W. Bro Eric Wheatley, Charity Steward of Mansfield Lodge, attended the Summer Fayre of the Landmarks Charity Trust at Cresswell, and presented a cheque in the sum of £500.00 on behalf of the Mansfield Charity Stewards. The donation was for the purchase of Polytunnels. He was also given the honour of formally opening the Summer Fayre. The Landmarks Trust is a registered charity set up which provides vocational education and training for students with severe learning difficulties and disabilities. It is a college based at a 20-acre farm and adjacent land of 220-acres at Cresswell and has a number of students from the Mansfield and Ashfield area.
