An Invitation to Join Nottinghamshire Masonic Caravanner’s Association and relax with Masonic friends and families
Caravanning is all about FREEDOM. If you have a touring Caravan or Motor Home .you are invited to join the Notts. Masonic Caravanner’s Association (NMCA) which strives to offer both the fellowship of Family and Friends, as well as the Freedom of Caravanning.
The NMCA Rallies are casual, friendly and are well organised. For example a typical weekend may include: Friday Night: Fish & Chips with Pudding and wine in the organiser’s awning Saturday: Morning coffee and the group will have dinner together in some local Pub, which will have been inspected prior to the weekend by the organiser. These are always great fun and often take account of 2 for 1 dinners etc. The choice of the meal, the number of courses, drinks and amount to be paid, is at each diner’s discretion with each account being rendered by the individual member. Sunday: Morning Coffee with departure at your leisure, alternatively you can often stay another day or so, if you have time.
A welcome by the Organising Steward at most NMCA weekends, will always include a warm welcome, assistance to set up (if required) and a cup of tea.
The most important aspects about modern (luxury) caravanning is the knowledge that you can expect a fresh water supply, a chemical loo disposal area and (no longer thought to be luxury) Mains Electric.
The NMCA caravan rallies are always well researched and all of the above utilities are available. However it is essential that you contact the Secretary when booking your weekend, to confirm availability.
Annual membership costs £8 per unit, rallies run from April to September
NMCA Remaining Rallies in 2010 6th - 8th August: North Scarle Playing Fields 3rd - 5th September 2010: Top Farm at Glapwell
Rally Fee: Approximately £18.00 per unit for 2 nights inclusive of electric hook up Refreshment Fee: £3.50 per person
