First TLC Logo Bear issued to Geoff Hennell
W Bro Geoff Hennell recently suffered a major stroke and as a result has lost the use of his left side and suffered some speech loss. Geoff has been a great supporter of the TLC whilst serving as Worshipful Master of Carnarvon Lodge and since, raising significant sums for the charity. Geoff is a much respected mason and I am sure all who know him wish him a speedy and full recovery.
I felt it was highly appropriate that Geoff who has done so much should receive the first ‘TLC Logo Bear’ issued in Nottinghamshire. It was therefore a great pleasure for me to give him the bear at his bedside in the City Hospital. Geoff with an inscrutable smile immediately named the bear Algernon!
