Planning is currently underway for the 2011 season and new members are particularly welcome.
During 2010 the Notts Masonic Caravan Association had planned 7 rallies.
The first at Maythorne Farm Southwell was held in April followed at monthly intervals by rallies at Hill Farm, Barrow on Trent, The CXanal Inn, Bullbridge, Derbyshire, Keale Lodge, Deeping St James, Lincs, Inglis Hill Farm, Ashby de la Zouche, Leics., North Scarle, Lincs and,
Our last meeting will be at Top Farm, Glapwell, Derbyshire over the weekend of 3rd – 6th September – you are all invited.
These rallies all follow the tried and tested format with members arriving on Friday when they are greeted with coffee and biscuits together with a rally information pack. Fish and Chips followed up with a pudding and copious glasses of wine lead to a very convivial evening in the Marshall’s awning when discussions range far and wide. On Saturday morning coffee and biscuits are provided early to enable visits to local attractions to take place. During the evening, we traditionally meet in a local hostelry for dinner and another enjoyable relaxing evening. Following Sunday elevenses when coffee and cake is enjoyed, the rally quiz is marked and prizes awarded after which we reluctantly pack up and head for home. It is usually possible to extend the stay until Monday and several normally do so.
