I have received from the race director Chris Sumner, a note of thanks to all who gave up their Sunday to marshall this event. I would like to thank my section (10) and all other masons who helped out. This event cannot go ahead without marshalls, so well done see you next year.

Provincial presentation to Leonard Cheshire Disability Home
A visit to the Leonard Cheshire Disability Home was made to present a cheque of £1756.00 to cover the cost of two items of equipment:
Bros R V Gutteridge, J S B Mather, RW Bro R K Wilson, The Very Reverend J A Guille (Dean of Southwell Minster), and VW Bro R H Green attending the presentation of a cheque for £6227.50 from the Provincial Charity to fund the cost of additional lighting in the Quire and £250 to the Minster Choir from the Provincial Music Association.
W. Bro Ken Purslow PPrJGW of the Byron Lodge 4014 is shown presenting a cheque for £200 on behalf of the Mansfield Masonic Hall Charity committee to the pupils of the Fountaindale School, to assist them with the funding of their Iceland Trip.
Family of Charity - For the last 22 years a total of twelve Lodges throughout England and Northern Ireland which have “Charity” associated to their name, have met together at one venue to promote charity and expand upon Freemasonry in general.

Nottinghamshire Regalia Department presents £500 cheque
In June 2010, W. B. Royce Kirkham from the Regalia department at Goldsmith Street, Nottingham, presented a cheque for £500 to the Prostrate Cancer Charity at the Nottingham City Hospital. The money was raised by the sale of regalia.

Above all, a new buzz of excitement throughout the whole of Freemasonry, of expectancy, and even of a little uncertainty about the future! So much planning and preparation has been made for the new Masonic season – will everything go according to plan?
Brethren of Worksop Priory Lodge No.7443. have recently made presentations totalling £2500 to 5 organisations.
On 12 February 2010, exactly 50 years to the day of the anniversary of his initiation into the Hemlock Stone Lodge, W. Bro. A.D. Russell PPrJGW was presented with a certificate by V. W. Bro. R.H. Green to mark this achievement, during the course of a regular meeting of the Hemlock Stone Lodge.
