Nottinghamshire Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine visit to the Grand Sepulchre Guard Conclave at Mark Masons Hall, St. James Street, London SW1

A wonderful day was enjoyed by all who supported and attended the unique situation of the Enthronement of Ill. Kt. Robert N. Grummitt as Sovereign and Ill. Kt. Terry D. Ward as Viceroy, (both members of the Nottingham Division) to the very prestigious Grand Sepulchre Guard Conclave on Saturday, 7th May 2011 at Mark Masons Hall, London SW1.

The Grand Sepulchre Guard Conclave membership is drawn from all Conclaves and Divisions throughout the known world and attend on the Grand Sovereign.

Ill. Kt. Grummitt and Ill Kt. Ward, would like to thank the Knights of Nottingham who supported them on this occasion: Rt. Ill. Kt. Stephen Mather the Intendant General, Ill. Kt. John Smee Past Deputy Intendant General, Ill. Kt. Bryan Hemstock, Ill. Kt. Howard Wright and W. Kt. Ralph Hitchin.

The Hymns and Chants which accompany this magnificent ceremony of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre , which explains the ultimate objects of freemasonry, are very unique to the Division of Nottinghamshire.

The Grand Sepulchre Guard Conclave is proud to present the Appendant Orders, which includes the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre Ceremony to qualifying Knights, in the most prestigious location: The Grand Temple at Mark Masons Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London, SW1., and this year, for one presentation only, the Division of Nottinghamshire have been invited to present those Hymns and Chants, which brings out the very best atmosphere and understanding of the ceremony to both Candidate and attending Knights alike.

The Ceremony itself will be presented by members of the Grand Sepulchre Guard, and the Hymns and Chants will be arranged under the Orchestration of the Divisional Organist P.Kt. Bill Hill and Choir Master Ill. Kt. Bill Robbins and as many Knights of Nottinghamshire
