TLC Stall Childrens fair at Bramcote - Tabitha Morgan
On the 24th August I was invited to help at the disabled Children's fair at Bramcote. I went with my cousins, Charlie and Maisie Keith who attended last year and wrote the article which appeared on the TLC website.
I was on the TLC stall where we were selling Bears, badges, car stickers and T shirts, we also made sure that all the special children went home with either a TLC bear or a soft toy. We had three joint winners of the "Bean Bag Bear " game and they all went home with one of our fund raising bears as prizes.
Graham Riche of Radcliffe Lodge explained that the fair is organised by Edwalton Lodge , St. Giles Lodge and the Showmans Lodge at Loughborough, with lots of help from the Showmans Guild who run the games and rides more slowly so the children can enjoy them.
The TLC stand was run from my granddad Smith's Camper van , which seemed to be full of his TLC committee members from Radcliffe lodge all day, eating cake and drinking coffee.
Graham also pointed out the PGM who attended with his wife Margaret, I hope that they had as good a time as we did, it was great to help.
