Christmas came early to St. Andrew’s United Reform Church on Goldsmith Street in Nottingham (adjacent to the Masonic building) when it hosted a Festival of Christmas Trees. The Nottinghamshire Masonic Centre was invited to take part and the mantle was picked up by Graham Riche, the Chairman of TLC Nottinghamshire, as he saw clear synergies between TLC and the charity SPIRAL which the church’s tree festival was in aid of. Spiral supports bereaved children and young people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and was launched by Family Care, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Faith in Families, in 2008.
